What do you really want

“To believe in something, and not to live it, is dishonest.”

We often hear, live the life of your dreams and make sure to go after what you want. Sure does sound great, and if it were so simple wouldn't we all be living the life of our dreams?. What is it that we really want? What we want is usually a bit different than the plan others hold for us, and that is where some confusion can present itself.

Work, real work, needs to get done in order to open up the pathways you're hoping for. It takes self-acceptance, self-reflection and getting really honest with yourself. Being honest with yourself is emotional and raw, and often exposes you to yourself in an uncomfortable way. But this is all good for YOU as YOU are the one who will take your life from where you are currently to where you want to be.

Questions to ask yourself:

What do I really want?

What do I really believe in?

What does success look and feel like, for me?

Regardless of what other people think, what matters to me?

What is the life I believe I should be living and why?

Does living my joy impact the greater good of the world?

Gratitude and appreciation for what you have now is the foundation to grow into more. Doing all of what you've been avoiding and putting off everyday. If those tasks constantly loom over your head, you will continue to feel stuck. Plan your day, and week, to get those things in particular accomplished, and the growth will be inevitable.
