Talbina recipe



How to make Talbina (must be 100% wholegrain barley flour)


Talbina is made by adding 1-2 tablespoons of barley flour to one and a half cups of water.

Place on low heat for 10-15 minutes (optional: add milk or yoghurt and sweeten with honey).

This may also be used as a food thickener for gravy, soups, dishes, etc. (the gravy in Australia is not permissible so I make my own gravy adding salt and pepper to taste).


Alternatively, you may add 1-2 tablespoons of barley flour (must be 100% wholegrain barley flour) to one and a half cups of milk. Place on low heat for 10-15 minutes (optional: add milk or yoghurt and sweeten with honey).


Drink at least one cup daily.


Times to be taken: I personally suggest between 7-9am for breakfast. Between 7-9am the Stomach receives most Blood hence why make breakfast biggest meal of the day. This will be great for school children as over time you may find that their focus and thinking ability enhances. Exam or interview times are a must as Talbina works on the Heart reducing all that anxiety and palpitations.


Or have a bowel for dinner with nothing else especially for those of us who wish to lose weight and belly fat.
