Ginger

Ginger powder tea is the first thing I always recommend to help my patients of all ages. It brings so much joy to see and hear how it has impacted people near and far.

Ginger powder is relatively cheap to purchase. Or you can make your own by washing fresh ginger then cut any and all impurities off and dehydrate it. Once you gravitate towards the essence of dehydrating the ginger you will notice it is more suitable for the conditions I see daily such as digestive issues, weight issues, hypertension, GERD, fatigue, parasites, bacteria, mould, metabolic syndromes, cancer to name a few. I would prefer this over cannabis any day.

The natural oils in dry ginger contain more potent anti-cancer, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, while the volatile oils in fresh ginger show greater potency as immune stimulants and antimicrobial agents.

Through ginger powder, ginger extract and ginger shots can be made making ginger convenient to have daily. I begin every day with ginger powder tea and consume as much as 6 cups every day. Ginger provides antioxidant, antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory support. It helps in the treatment of cancer, hypertension, diabetes, excess weight and the common cold.

In TICM, ginger nourishes the body's Yang (warm) energy which is easily depleted in our modern day lifestyles. Lifestyle factors such as poor diet, overexertion, overwork, drugs, alcohol, poor sleeping habits, emotional imbalances and stress deplete our precious Yang (warm) energy.

The other natural herb that does all the above is honey in its purest form. Ginger and honey are the only 2 herbs I ever recommend regardless of what condition you have. But take ginger with caution if you are on blood thinners due to chemical interactions.
