Liver ‘detox’ using chlorophyll and spirulina for one month saved so many peoples Spleen from being taken out along with acupuncture treatment. Whilst western medicine claims we can live without a Spleen, I do not agree with this opinion. God put each organ into our body as all our body organs have a purpose and live in harmony with each other inside our bodies working hard for us. But as they are not visible to us, we take them for granted hence this leads us to being misguided. Our organs are living organisms.
The Spleen has a massive role within our body. Not only is it responsible for making and destroying all blood cells in our body but it is responsible for our immune system, digestive function with the partner organ the Stomach, lymph nodes and entire lymphatic system. So how can I consciously tell a person that it is an organ we can live without? I always say to people, before even considering having body organs chopped out, do come and speak to me. Let us see what we can do from the Qur’an and Sunnah point of view as I will do everything possible to make that organ healthy again but the patient must work with me.
One main difference between the two is at the cellular level. Chlorella requires a mechanical processing to be digestible, whereas spirulina is easy for our bodies to digest without any processing.
Chlorella is rich in phytonutrients, amino acids, chlorophyll, potassium, biotin, and B-Complex vitamins. Helps boost energy, supports a healthy immune system, supports healthy hormonal function, promotes cardiovascular health, can help your body to process toxins, contains higher levels of Omega 3 fatty acids, higher in fat and calories.
Spirulina contains more essential amino acids than chlorella and has high amounts of protein, iron, and vitamins C, D, and E, as well as minerals such as copper, magnesium, zinc, calcium, and selenium. Can help eliminate candida, boost energy, reduces sinus inflammation, helps process toxins and higher in protein.
So, as you can see, Spirulina and chlorella are both nutrient dense blue green algae but contain different vitamins and minerals and have varying benefits. Though chlorella is slightly higher in some nutrients, you can’t go wrong with either. Chlorella and spirulina can be taken together, and personally I recommend powder form mixed in filtered water or cold pressed liquid form in glass bottles.
